Browse down aft sheer clamps and plank ends. Mock up cockpit and booby hatch and fit into hull. Set-up for pulling cradle and boat out and in. Make minor repairs to hull and stringers.

Sand and prepare hull for painting. Brush on one coat of primer and one coat of undercoat to hull, deckbeams, underside of first layer of foredeck, knees and breasthook. Arrange lead cartage to Glenfield.

Bruce Askew builds 1:15 model  of hull for ballast tests (performed in his bath).

Make, fit, cove and sand hanging knees. Mount breasthook and carve to deck camber. Repair damager to clamps and stringers. Make and fit temporary deck beam. Fit,mark and trim deck ply. Cut arrises and coves into deck planking edges and everdure. Make and fit additional deck planking supports. Remove deckbeams, sand cove, and prepare for painting. Mark, drill for, seal, and screw in engine bay floors and beds. Lower in engine. Mark for, drill, seal and screw in engine mount bolts. Strip out cockpit and fittings. Remove toerail and side decks.

Scrape sheer clamps. Fill and everdure plank ends. Trim down stemhead. Remove packers etc from billett head. Plane sheer fair. Make and glue on new beam shelves and packers to clamp. Plane clamp and shelf tops to accepts deckbeams. Make jig and rout taper into clamp packers and stem head. Notch out stemhead. Make and fit breasthook. Cut deckbeams to size and fit to shelves and clamps.

Apply two top coats to bilges and floors. Collect washers, etc and organise lead collection. Make templates for hanging knees.

Collect, rip, and machine timber; set up lamination jig and glue up deckbeams; clean up and trim all beams.

Collect nuts and washers from Barclay Engineering. Paint undersides of floors with two coats of topcoat. Carefully remove sidedecks. Remove chainplates and padeyes. Remove all foredeck hardware.

Remove foredeck. Plane plank ends flush with sheer clamp top and remove red lead. Trim back stem top and drifts.

Bilges

Cut off protruding bolts. Solvent scrub engine bay and clean out bilges. Epoxy seal below stringer. Sand back timber furriness and re-epoxy seal. Prime bilges x 1 coat. Undercoat bilges x 2 coats.

Floors

Bore floors #0 and #1 and keel for bolts. Rebate all floors and keel for washers. Screw in engine bay floors and beds. Bore for bed retainers, limber holes and floor-to-floor bolts. Measure for and make floor bolts. Have engine bed retainers made. Fit and sand all. Fit floor, mark, remove, and cut rounded ends. Radius and sand all. Epoxy seal, prime (1 coat), and undercoat (2 coats) all floors and beds.

Remove toe rails, for and side decks back to cockpit. Remove cabin. Brace hull.
