Fair lazarette lids and radius. Radius rudderstock and samson post holes. Fibreglass holes and cutout edges. Fill all staple holes. Scrape back cutout fibreglass, and grind deck fair. Prepare for and fibreglass deck and lids.

Prepare cradle and lift hull to remove rudder. Remove copper from rudder and deadwood in way of rudderpost. Remove rudder fittings and scrape paint from deadwood and rudder.

Decide on setup for maststep, fuel tank, samson post, and engine/rudder/propellor.

Fit and trim cockpit coamings, beam, and trim timbers. Let in samson post. Mark and cut lazarette lids from aft deck. Make, fit, and glue on edge trims to lazarette cutouts and lids. Fit hinges to lids and deck. Bore for and glue in dowels in way of all hinge screws. Make, fit, glue ands screw on drainage channels. Clean up channels and radius trims for fibreglass. Trim back edges trim with sheerstrakes and fair sheerstrakes to hull. Rout rebate into deck edge/sheerstrake top. Make, fit, glue on, and fair edge trims to deck and hull.

Fair back lazarette gratings; bevel and fit to hull. Brush on two topcoats to deck ply inner layer, deck beams and hull. Make, glue in and fair back hull repair.

Glue in and screw deck beams. Mount bridle and rudderpost/deck beam, through bolting. Make transom blocking template. Make, glue on and fair transom blocking fairing. Rip, fit, and scarf top layer of deck ply. Prepare for, glue and staple on the three layers of deck ply.

 

Make rudder post/box bridle. Capture nut in sampson post. Bore for and bolt rudder post to doubled deck beams, and sampson post to aft deck beam. Everdure all holes, counterbores, bridle blocks and new inner planking. Prime and undercoat new inner planking, repairs, deckbeams, hoop, sheerclamp, and inner deck ply. Remove through hulls. Fair rudder box top to deck beams. Trial fit cockpit. Dry fit beams and screws. Fit new rivets as required. Make lazarette grating templates. Machine gratings and frames. Assemble and glue up.

Rip, fit, mark out, and remove two layers of deck ply. Make and cut mortise and tenon on aft samson post. Fit to horn. Check post into deck beam. Make and glue in blocking and patches to sheer clamp, transom hoop, and horn. Repair inner hull planking. Everdure new timber.
