Fill and clean up cockpit, seat brackets, etc. Paint all, including: one coat of primer, three undercoats, sand flat, then three top coats. Epoxy seal cockpit exterior as required.

Make and fit aft of engine box grating. Bore propshaft support strut and shaftlog for mounting bolts. Make bolts. Thread and tap into strut. Have strut machined and cutlass bearing pressed in.

Prepare, grout, and mount strut. Bore hull and shaftlog to accept proptube. Make composite proptube support/flange and bracket for front of shaftlog. Make additional engine beds

Reeve out old putty between inner layer of planking. Prepare and paint remaining section of hull inside: one coat of primer, two coats of undercoat, and two topcoats.

Recover castings from foundry.

Fit packers between maststep and floor. Make mortise and tongue hold down for floorboard. Sand and prepare all interior timber for bright finish. Stain and seal all brightwork. Apply six coats of ‘Uroxsys’ aliphatic resin, sanding every second coat.

Make under cockpit doublers for support posts and fit mock up panels to posts. Drill and screw on cockpit transom support blocks. Make and fit cleats, upstands and location pins for lazarette gratings. Make and fit blocking to locate bottom of cockpit transom. Centre lazarette lids in their apertures. Make and fit gutterings. Rebate in sealing subbers. Make and fit lid hold down/spring up arrangements.

Turn rods for old keel bolt holes. Glue and wedge in, fill with resin. Make and fit forward floorboard cleats. Fit under maststep floorboard.

Trim forward ends of cockpit coamings. Scribe cockpit coamings to aft decks and adjust for level. Trim booby hatch deck opening to size.

Make and fit mockup posts to support cockpit forward end, deck edge and form aft face of booby hatch. Make chocks and blocking for fixing in aft cockpit bulkhead.
