Trim new side decking. Rebate for, make, and glue in hardwood deck edging and radius. Spot fill decking and fibreglass. Fill and fair.

Mark out, drill and counterbore for companionway hatch bolting. Make copper bolts and dry assemble hatch.

Position and fit hatch slide rails. Drill, counterbore and screw down rails.

Trim hatch sides to fit. Make and rebate in brass runners. Slot rails to accept hatch and assemble.

Make skylight leaves. Mount and cut pane rebates. Prepare for sealing system. Make blocking for aft sidedecks. Glue in, clean up, and paint all side deck blocking and trim pieces. Prepare, glue and screw on all side decking.

Begin building skylight and fit to deck.

Machine timber for, and laminate on teak veneer to hatch top panel. Make and fit handle to hatch slide. Glue in and finish mouldings to hatch sides. Sand and scrape both sides of hatch top, front and sides. Make and fit forward corner internal pieces. Make and fit sill to companionway. Carve beadings around inside face of portlights.

Make and fit facing boards at companionway. Make winch mounts. Trim to length and carve moudling profile around aft end of hatch tops. Make mouldings for hatch side fields and rebate in. Cut in portlight holes and make inserts. Carve corner mouldings for aft corners.
