Take template from floors. Cut rebates into maststep. Open out floors and fit maststep to floors. Shape maststep. Level boat in cradle. Make mockups of seats and engine box.

Mark out and mock up new rudder and rudder stock. Make rudderstock cap casting pattern. Straighten, drill for, and mount mainsheet traveller hoop. Turn infill for old stern tube hole. Prepare hole and glue in. Clean up old shaftlog end, make cap, and glue on aft new shaftlog to cap. Fibreglass and bed shaftlog on grott. Temporarily attach shaftlog. Prepare boring bar and cutter. Make cutlass bearing for boring bar. Bore hull and shaftlog for stern tube. Remove shaftlog and varnish on same timber for maststep.
